Jin Xuan is a tea cultivar developed in Taiwan during the 1980’s combining Yingzhi Hong Xin and Tainong no. 8 to produce such a fragrant tea that it was named thus (translates to golden daylily). Mr. Cai has reverse imported this cultivar to the birthplace of wulongs, the mountains of Anxi China, to create an anti-fake version of this beautifully buttery tea. The light roast and careful extended oxidation bring out complex character and memorable flavours.
