Taking inspiration from our seminars held for our wholesale clients, this class is a 1.5 hour dive into our understanding of maccha, a brief history, health benefits, storage tips for optimum flavour, and preparation techniques. Students will taste different qualities of maccha and come away with a fundamental understanding of what maccha is and suggestions on its application at home and in food service.
You will learn a method of maccha preparation built for a food service environment, with a goal of maintaining the tea’s integrity. The first half of the session will be a focus on knowledge followed by a focus on technique.
