Aracha Saeamidori Notes:
This is the “rough tea” aracha version of the Sencha Saemidori. This cultivar was created by blending the widely grown Yabukita with the beautiful Asatsuyu. It has gained in attention over the years for its use in high quality gyokuro and maccha.
Takaki has grown a lovely version of this tea that on the cupping table was bursting with an olive oil umami and notes of mandarin orange. Great minerality with a soft yellow green liquor.

Sencha Saemidori Notes:
This is the “finished tea” sencha version of the Aracha Saemidori. This cultivar was created by blending the widely grown Yabukita with the beautiful Asatsuyu.
Saemidori has gained in attention over the years for its use in high quality gyokuro and maccha production.
Takaki has lightly fired this selection to protect its delicate umami corn flavours while drawing out cooked honey and a lily nose.
