This single cultivar Okumidori is from the Okubo micro-lot and continues our “ara-tencha” series. The Takakis have a distinct berry terroir that firing in our tea roaster accentuates and draws out pine nut and chocolate notes.

The Takakis are located in Hoshinomura, Japan, a village that has placed first in JAS competitions. They represent this with a flourish, experimenting with new techniques.
