Rich and smooth, this tea is created from the fragments of gyokuro production. Offering a glimpse at the $18 cup that gyokuro would demand, it provides complex notes of fireweed honey in the nose, green apple in the opening and iceberg lettuce in the finish.
Fujioka never fails to deliver exquisite fresh harvest teas. This 2015 selection, fresh from the farm, is symbolic of his excellent work.
