This shade grown sencha by Mr. Fujioka is emblematic of what is possible in the famed Uji growing region.
Okumidori is a solid tea with few defects grown for its high yield and to help stagger the harvest of Yabukita which is ready 11 days prior.
Fujioka exclusively produces single cultivars and he has poured his heart and soul into this particular selection. It is superbly balanced, highlighting aromatics and a smooth, clean cup.
