Jalinga Tea Estate was started by the late Manibhai Patel in 1935. His sons now run the company and took it organic in 2004. The only certified carbon neutral tea estate that we know of in the world, they put an incredible amount of energy into the ecology of the land they farm and the livlihoods of those who farm it.
