Notes:

Initially brought in in 2021, we were happy with the sample, but not with the batch that arrived. It was so memorably good that we cupped it every year since but chose not to release it due to just not liking it. Then 2024 happened and it just popped. This tea aged into something with lovely character, full of honey, citrus and cotton candy. A lovely and happy accident for us, as normally we would have seen a tea like this taste worse with age. Here we are, though, 3 years later, finally happy to release it. Luo’s production of this very rare Guangdong crimson is finding its way into the “special” section of our teabar regulars’ tea collections.
