Registered in Shizuoka in 2003, Tsuyuhikari is a cross between Asatsuyu and Shizuka 7132, both native to Uji. Shizuoka has been enforcing their patent recently, so no new fileds are allowed. That makes this selection, grown in the highly coveted field of Inuyama, extra special. The Takakis consider this field ideal for gyokuro production and it shows. The Hoshinomura terroir highlights fruit and butter with excellent colour
