Notes:
Harvesting this tea required the farmers to individually pick the 2nd leaf from each young budset, an incredible feat of precision and care. Lu An Gua Pian is literally called “melon slice” because of its subsequent shape . (“Gua Pian” translates this way.) Wei has hand rolled a tea that is at once buttery as it is floral and spicy. Delicate as it is rich. Every stem is removed and the tea is flash-baked over 12 times , bringing out gorgeous butter notes in the cup
