Notes:This is the “finished tea” sencha version of the Aracha Saeakari. This cultivar was created by blending the pest resistant Z1 with aroma and umami rich saemidori. Due to its high yield and strength in completion, it is expected to replace the ubiquitous Yabukita in the long term. Through an under study with Takaki on firing, we were able to draw out a nutty quality that enhances the corn like sweetness without sacrificing the citrusy pepper nose on our roaster.
